Fast Track is worth it on a night arrival at SGN or HAN, with kids, or when you cannot stand for an hour. It is optional on a quiet Tuesday at Da Nang.
What you actually get
An agent meets you before immigration with a name board and walks you to the priority lane. You still scan your own passport and Digital Arrival Card QR. After baggage they can walk you to the car. It is not a VIP lounge and it is not skipping immigration law.
Pay for it when
You land at SGN or HAN after 18:00. You have children or older parents. You have a same-night domestic connection. You do not want to discover a 90-minute queue after a 12-hour flight.
Skip it when
You land at DAD or CXR mid-morning with one other flight on the board, you are a solo traveler with time, and you already filed the arrival card. The regular line is often 20–40 minutes then.
