1. Overview
VTH Media Intelligence is a private media-management and production application operated by Vietnam Travel Hack (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how our application accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when authorized users integrate their Google account with VTH Media Intelligence.
2. Google Drive Access
Google Drive access occurs only after an authorized user explicitly grants OAuth permission through Google's consent screen.
The application currently requests and uses the limited Google Drive scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
This limited scope permits the application to access and manage only those files that have been created, uploaded, or opened by or through VTH Media Intelligence. It does not grant full access to your personal Google Drive or unrelated files.
3. How Google Drive Data Is Used
Authorized Drive data and media assets are used strictly to provide and enhance media production features, specifically to:
- Upload travel media files and raw footage to organized destination folders.
- Retrieve authorized media for processing, analysis, and transcribing.
- Generate and store media derivatives (such as optimized web previews and streaming proxies).
- Generate previews, posters, and storyboards for production planning.
- Store related metadata (including resolution, duration, destination tags, and scene descriptions).
- Provide authorized video previews for editors and production reviewers.
- Provide authorized media downloads for project collaborators.
- Support media search, taxonomy, and video production workflows.
4. Storage
Original media files are stored within the authorized user's Google Drive storage. Derivative assets, search indices, and production metadata are stored within the secure VTH Media infrastructure to allow rapid search, indexing, and editorial timeline assembly.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell Google user data or media assets to third parties under any circumstances.
Media assets and operational data are only shared when required for core application functionality or when the authorized account owner explicitly shares a project or media asset with an authorized collaborator or editor.
6. Data Protection & Security
We implement reasonable technical, operational, and organizational safeguards designed to protect application data, OAuth authorization credentials, and media files against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Access is restricted to authorized users using encrypted communication channels (HTTPS/TLS).
7. Revoking Google Access
You may revoke VTH Media Intelligence's access to your Google account at any time. To disconnect the application, visit your Google Account Security settings under Third-party apps & services at:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
Upon revocation, the application will immediately lose access to your Google Drive through that authorization.
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Media files and associated metadata are retained as necessary for the ongoing operation of the Vietnam Travel Hack media library until deleted or removed by an authorized administrator or user.
If Google authorization is revoked, the application will no longer be able to access or retrieve files from Google Drive through that authorization. Authorized users may request deletion of stored project metadata by contacting support.

10. Effective Date & Changes
